Overview & Highlights

Welcome to Trattoria Due Colonne, a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Favignana, Italy. Located at Piazza Madrice, 76, this charming restaurant invites you to indulge in a culinary journey that highlights the freshest seafood the region has to offer. As soon as you step inside, the vibrant atmosphere—enhanced by live music on select evenings—welcomes you to a unique dining experience.

One of the standout features of Trattoria Due Colonne is the sheer quality of its offerings. Patrons rave about the freshness of the ingredients, with dishes showcasing local favorites such as mussels, calamari, octopus, and swordfish. One guest, Zachary Cohen, who initially approached with skepticism due to the absence of reviews, left with a transformed palate, declaring the seafood to be nothing short of delightful.

Another highlight is the acclaimed fish couscous with a rich fish soup, highly praised by Carol Lamming, who noted that it was the best she had tasted on her travels. Such culinary excellence is not only about the food; it's complemented by attentive service, with staff eager to ensure your experience is seamless. The ambiance, located in the main square facing the church, captures the essence of Italian dining with an enticingly lively backdrop.

Your meal can start with a simple yet exquisite pasta like the tagliatelle with monkfish, a dish that WanderLust Traveler describes as “dreamy.” The experience is further enhanced by the presence of fine wines that harmonize beautifully with the dishes, reinforcing the restaurant's commitment to quality and satisfaction.

Even if you find your dish wasn’t quite to your taste—as experienced by Sydney L. with her basil-heavy pasta—the lively environment, marked by sports events and community spirit, ensures that each visit to Trattoria Due Colonne is memorable. The warmth exuded by staff, like Christian, who has been highlighted for his kindness, adds a personal touch that makes you feel at home.

In conclusion, Trattoria Due Colonne is more than just a restaurant; it’s a delightful experience where Italian culture and gastronomy come together to create unforgettable moments. Whether you are a local resident or a traveler exploring Favignana, make it a point to visit this remarkable trattoria. You’ll leave with not only a satisfied palate but also a heart full of Italian hospitality.

We had a great time here. We were somewhat sceptical as there were no reviews and it's right in the main square but we were pleasantly surprised. The muscles, calamari, octopus and sword fish were all extremely fresh and delicious. The menu was varied and the price fair.

Had my second fish cous cous with fish soup meal here. The first was in Erice, and this one was by far the best: in appearance, taste and overall enjoyment. Highly recommended. The staff were attentive and were quick to adjust our bill as we were guests of the Hotel Tempo di Mare where you can get a 10% discount off your bill. Would definitely return to this restaurant if we are in Favignana.

I’m so glad that I popped into this restaurant, what a treat. Whilst others were full by reservation they took me in which was appreciated! Normally I go off reviews but since there was none, well…. Totally on point, location on the main square facing the church. Had LIVE music on a Wed night, what? Such an amazing singer and guitarist playing both Italian and English songs. Top quality! Everyone was loving the atmosphere! The service was next level, not what I’m used to Italy. Everyone was hustling and attending the tables properly, now I’m spoiled! Now my food was absolutely delicious. A simple pasta tagliatelle and monkfish, very dreamy! Simple but perfect in every way! Wine was totally on point as well, simple and refreshing! Finished off with a cappuccino and yes yes yes…. Perfect finale to my Favignana getaway! I do hope to be back one day! Thank you, grazie mille! :)

Food was delicious and special thanks to Christian, he’s been incredibly kind and helpful!

The tuna steak was cooked well, but my husband had a basic pasta which was only okay. It was too strong basil tasting in our opinion. The experience was lovely and the environment was great with a soccer match going on it was very lively and fun to watch.
